Zacks.com submits: Oracle Corp. (ORCL), the largest database and enterprise software company after Microsoft Corp. (MSFT), reported first quarter 2011 earnings and revenues on September 16 that outpacing Zacks Consensus Estimates. The impressive results were due to strong new software license sales (sales to new customers) and growth in hardware sales, boosted by the acquisition of Sun Microsystems in January this year.
